Can you believe it??? Spring is around the corner (and, man, am I thankful for that). It's been a quiet month but, that will soon end. Soccer will start before we know it. Then school will be over and summer will be here! Time flies when you're having fun, I guess!
So, things are still going okay in the diet world. I found a pair of size 12 jeans that I haven't been able to fit into for a while and they fit great! That gave me a huge boost of confidence! As far as the family, the kids are doing great in school. Dakota just won 1st place in the 5th grade science fair (despite his procrastination and working on it the very last minute). He really did do a great job! Haleigh has been a reading fool. She can easily fly through a Junie B. chapter book in 2 nights! And she's only in the 2nd grade!!! Brian is still a painting fool. It's nice to be creative together (but he takes up all my space - LOL)! My job, well, I still have it. I am thankful for that. We are starting a 6 week rotation, where we are "unemployed" 1 week out of every 6, taking turns. The first week, I won't even receive unemployment. Kinda bites but, the company is really trying to keep all of their current employees. I can't really complain.
That's it for the Stiner household!

Still truckin' along!
So, I'm still coming along with my weight loss. I've now lost 6 lbs and I'm still eating very low carbs. Hopefully, I'll see a 10 lb weight loss (total) by the end of February. That's my goal, anyway!
Life has been pretty quiet around the Stiner household lately! We've been working on small projects here and there, trying to get this house ready to be put on market. It still seems that we have so much to do and just never enough money/time to do it with. I really hope to be out of this school district by 2010. Even if it means changing the kids' school mid-year. They deserve better. We all deserve better!
I have been creating like crazy this past month! 18 layouts!!! Here are some of my favorites:
These would have to be my top 5. Now, of course, I have NO mojo. I have no idea where it went to but, I think that it's gone for a while. I haven't been feeling very good for a few days (I think that I'm getting a cold or something) so, that could be to blame but, we'll see!
On another note, I would like to say that I am so happy to have what I have. A happy, healthy family. A job. A house. 2 cars. And so on, and so on. So many people are losing there jobs, which in turn, they seem to loose a lot of other things. Then, there are families that just wait to hear good news, such as their little girl's scan to be clear and have no sign of returning cancer (WOOHOO Audrey!). Also, a little girl that I've been following (via web) for the past few months, who was just 4 years old and diagnosed with a brain tumor, has lost her battle. Her family has just lost their little girl. I can't even imagine. That just makes my heart ache. For all the above mentioned. I know that I am truly blessed.
So, I will end this post on that note. Be thankful for all that you have!!!
